The scene at Nanchang Hongutan Wanda Plaza’s foundation laying ceremony

On 20th January, a grand foundation laying ceremony titled “Prosperous Wanda, Radiant Jinjiang” was held at the project site of the Jinjiang Wanda Plaza. This marked the official initiation of the new commercial property in Jinjiang.

Various leaders, including Liu Wenru, Vice Secretary of CPC Jinjiang Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Jinjiang, and Qi Jie, Vice President of Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties Co., Ltd, attended the ceremony. Firecrackers were lit and the scene was boisterous and lively. People from the community and friends from all over gathered together to cheer the grand foundation laying of the Jinjiang Wanda Plaza.

This entire project comprises a large shopping center, commercial walkways, a high-end commercial hotel, a Grade-A office building and high-end residential units, bringing together shopping, F&B, cultural, entertainment, business and leisure under one roof. This is Dalian Wanda’s second project in Quanzhou and is also the largest urban complex in Jinjiang under construction presently.

The Jinjiang Wanda Plaza will not only fill Jinjiang’s gap in mega urban complexes, it will also bring about an upgrade in the city’s commerce, improving the whole urban image. After it opens for business, the Jinjiang Wanda Plaza will help the local government generate a sustained stable stream of tax revenue and will also create numerous job openings. It will improve the urban set-up and become the new commercial, office and entertainment center in Jinjiang.
